Fall 2016 Wind Ensemble Auditions -
Thursday & Friday, August 11 & 12
Auditions for the Fall 2016 UH Wind Ensemble are coming up!
Membership in the Fall Wind Ensemble will be limited to a total of 27 players, as follows:
2 flutes (1 seat open)
2 oboes (1 seat open)
4 clarinets (3 seats open)
2 bassoons (1 seat open)
3 saxophones (3 seats open)
3 trumpets (1 seat open)
3 horns (1 seat open)
3 trombones (2 seats open)
1 tuba (no seats open)
3 percussion (1 seat open)
1 piano (no seats open)
(Members of the UH Bands Chamber Groups are already seated and need not audition.)
Auditions: Thursday, August 11, 6-8pm & Friday, August 12, 2-4pm

(Alternate times can be scheduled for work conflicts.)
Results will be announced the following week. The Wind Ensemble (MUS 419B) meets Tuesdays & Thursdays 3-5pm. Students not selected for the Wind Ensemble will be placed in the Fall Concert Band (MUS 419D, Thursdays 7-9:30pm).
